• chedules and coordinates physical inventories and cycle counts. Receptive to being taught leadership skills to eventually guide a group through multi-stepped cycle count.P
• repares physical inventory recaps on a timely basis for email distribution to management.R
• eviews and develops inventory control procedures when deemed necessary by Supervisors.P
• ractice of writing SOP packets as self-learning tool to show mastery of an area.O
• versees pallet breakdown of store returns. Accurately processes store return documents.W
• orks with Customer Service. Directs union labor on prompt return to stock.I
• dentifies and resolves internal shrink problems. Gains an understanding of the intricacies of variable costs impact on operations profit margins.T
• o learn reason codes for changes to the inventory. Includes accepted accounting procedures for damage, spoilage, vendor returns, department changes, pack changes, and store returns.R
• eviews warehouse outs and inventory adjustments daily.E
• ventual publishing and interpreting of daily code report, mark out report, and inventory variance reports.C
• ommunicates with Buyers of GM/HBC, Perishables, Produce, Seasonal, and Liquor to resolve excess inventory problems and short-coded product.T
• racks Salvage Program, including damage and donations. Reports weekly figures to managers of departments.M
• aintains record retention program in compliance with corporate guidelines and policies.F

• articipates in Period parts inventories of facility departments.T
